Summer time seems just as busy as foaling season; now that all the foals are on the ground, we are now focusing our energy towards their ground training. Summer time also means flies and all the foals are more than happy to stand quietly for their fly masks and fly spray. All the foals have started their leading training, being prepared for the farrier and their first real bath. By the time they are weaned they will be fully prepared for their new owners including loading into the trailer and standing tied.
Centella has a new person in her life. She was sold to a wonderful couple in California, and we are honored that out of all the foals and yearlings she looked at, that she choose one of our foals as her next riding partner.
I hope you take the time to read my July Newsletter. I received a wonderful letter from a past buyer of one of my horses, and for me personally, a satisfied owner and a happy horse reflect my goals and values as a breeder.
