July 2009
As we head into the summer months, the foals continue to grow and mature and are blossoming into wonderful individuals; each having their own little personalities along with their favorite places to be scratched.
Our gorgeous filly Centella out of Palena by Noble has been sold to a wonderful couple in California. She is a professional natural horsemanship and dressage trainer who plans to use Centella for demonstrations and to show her in competitive dressage. Centella will have a wonderful home and we are so pleased that a professional choose one of our well bred horses as her next riding partner.
We have been busy at work training and preparing our foals for there future owners and they are all progressing well with leading, picking up the feet, standing for the farrier and being bathed. By the time they are weaned in October they will have all the necessary ground skills including trailer loading and standing to be tied; fully prepared for the future.
As a breeder, I spend many hours, countless months and almost a year waiting for the arrival of the new foals. As much pleasure as this gives me, the below note I received from a wonderful lady who bought one of my horses in 2007 reflects what truly matters to me the most. A well satisfied owner and a happy horse.
Hi Erin,
Both Arturo and I hope that this long overdue note finds you and your family doing well.
I cannot thank you enough for introducing Arturo into my life. He has lived up to his reputation both as an individual and representative of his breed.
The trainer that I am working with says that she wishes she could have a whole barn full of horses like him. But of course to me there is only one Arturo.
We are making incredible progress, that is to say I am working hard to keep up with Arturo's progress. I fear that I may be holding him back but Arturo is not complaining about the pace of our training.
I hope that we keep in touch and that someday you are able to see what a bountiful horse you raised.
Regards and best to you and your family,
Victoria A Sincerely,
